Relaxed Leopard

This beautiful specimen was seen last week at the end of the evening drive by the guests at Senalala. It had recently fed on an impala and was very relaxed as it was totally satiated. Leopards are usually quite shy and elusive except when humans feed them, which is quite dangerous as they become habituated to human contact and they can and do have confrontations with people (which quite often results in the animal being killed).
The guides in our traversing area are skilled at tracking and our leopard sightings have been quite frequent this past year.
