Our Manager and Lead guide, James Steyn, after six years of preparation was awarded the Cybertracker Senior Tracker qualification. Along with this he was the holder of the Fgasa SKS Dangerous Game qualification. Together these qualifications earned him the much sought after “Scout” certificate, of which there are currently only 9 people in South Africa that have attained this level. James is keen to utilize his skills in tracking and approaching dangerous game on foot by teaching younger, less experienced guides (especially those at Senalala) on how to improve their tracking skills as well as ensuring that visitors to Senalala benefit through improved game sightings during their stay.
