THE GYM
Guests who wish to spend some of their spare time in between safaris keeping in shape have access to a bright & spacious, fully equipped, air-conditioned gym. Various cardio and other fitness equipment enables guests to keep up with their exercise routines while staying in camp.
THE POOL
The outdoor pool at Senalala offers a tranquil setting for guests to relax and revitalize after the morning game drive or during the afternoon. Set within lush indigenous gardens, with loungers surrounding the pool and thatch umbrellas for shade, it is the perfect place to relax with a book or to soak up the sun while watching squirrels chase each other on the lawn or birds foraging in the gardens for tasty treats. On occasion, various animals can be seen outside the fence on their way to the waterhole.
LIBRARY
Our library consists of a collection of classics as well as our own selection of books for our guests to enjoy during their stay. A great way to unwind after the day’s adventures with a beverage in hand, we trust you will enjoy the titles we have gathered for our library and welcome recommendations to add. A good portion of this library is focused on wildlife, particularly reference material.
LAUNDRY
For guests that need that occasional piece of clothing cleaned during their stay with us, we offer limited daily laundry services. Due to our limited water supply and disposal systems, we cannot do extensive laundry at the camp and we ask our guests to consider the conservation impact of this request.
WiFi
At Senalala, we recognize that many of our guests need to stay connected to the outside world. We have enabled WiFi facilities to provide guests with the some of the most consistent internet connectivity available in the middle of the bush.

OUR ETHOS

Authentic
Senalala provides guests with an authentic South African safari experience, combining Africa’s abundant wildlife and inspiring natural setting with luxurious camp facilities and exceptional service. Tucked within the African wilderness, Senalala offers guests world class guiding; accommodation in spacious, air conditioned chalets; access to pool, gym, and conference facilities; and an eclectic mix of local and traditional dining. Committed to delivering the ultimate safari experience, we believe you will feel at home as soon as you step through the gates of Senalala.

Conservation
One of the most intractable challenges facing nature reserves is the conservation of Africa’s natural heritage, including the fight against unprecedented levels of poaching. The conservation effort is crucial to the protection of wildlife and the overall sustainability of Africa’s wildlife ecosystem. We are privileged to be part of this effort and encourage you to join us in this worthy endeavor.

Education
We believe our guests are not satisfied with passive observation and are therefore dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of South Africa’s wildlife habitat and the key principles that shape the local environment. With a focus on individual interests, our guides communicate with guests on how to identify prominent plants and animals, recognize and understand basic animal behavioral patterns and ecological principles, interpret obvious signs and sounds in the bush, and orientate themselves in the natural environment.
